If you drive the 18 miles of New Hampshire Seacoast, you might miss the tiny precinct of Rye Beach. My first visit to the area was 21 years ago, when I began dating my husband who grew up there. I was immediately drawn to the craggy shoreline that hugs the Atlantic and the endless sandy beach at low tide. On very clear days, you can see all the way to the Isle of Shoals, a beautiful yet tiny cluster of islands not far off the coast. As an artist, Rye Beach has continually offered bountiful inspiration to me.

We always loved our summertime visits, but this past summer, as air travel wasn’t an option, we began to appreciate the NH Seacoast in a whole new light. With seemingly fresh eyes, we saw the possibility and beauty of the place and decided to purchase a second home here. While charming, the house needs some TLC and updates to accommodate our family of five, and the visitors we hope to entertain.
Join us on IG and FB as we embark on the renovation journey. I'm excited to layer our new house with the perfect touches to make it a place our friends and family will be happy to call home. Maybe you’ll find some inspiration too.
